(My) Yeti was part of the motor vehicle convoy that took place on June 2nd 2010.

The convoy was a protest of the fans of Athletic Club Iraklis of Thessaloniki, against an unfair ruling by the licensing comity against the Football Club that may result in the club being expelled from the premier league.

The protesting fans cruised through the city center and symbolically blocked the highway leading to the capital of the country. The protest was peaceful and incident free.

Despite the fact that most teams in the Greek National Football Premier League (a.k.a. Superleague) do not meet the typical (financial) criteria to participate in the league, the licensing comity rejected my club’s application, while at the same time passed (tailormade) rules in order to favor another club in order to keep them in the Superleague.
