can anyone suggest whether cleaning the MAF should be done regularly and is this something i can do. How would i detatch the MAF?

i dont think i've got any issues with the MAF. car runs well. But its more a preventative maintenance thing

I wouldn't try it unless you have problems as you could easily knacker it. MAFs are delicate things and also carb cleaner might be a bit harsh, most people use isopropyl alcohol
