My skoda Fabia 1.2 2005 would not start today. The ignition comes on but does not turn over. I bump started it and it starts however the oil can light flashes and alarms and continues to stay on. once turned off wont start again has plenty of oil in it.

My questions are would a defective oil presure switch prevent the car from turning over?

If i get it to a skoda dealer will their computer identify the fault if it is another sensor.
