nice car

created by remapping the ECU of the Standard Octavia vRS's 197bhp motor, sticking on a three-inch stainless steel exhaust and fitting a bigger air filter.

So would that alone create an extra 58bhp?

that my friend is a repost. :giggle:

in answer to your question though yes it would but it is a really expensive way pof doing it. a £500 performance downpipe, £300 performance intake and a good stage 2 remap will see you at 260Hp easily

Bit confused by this Sy, are you saying a DP, Intake and stage 2 remap are an expensive way of gaining 60+ hp? or have I misunderstood?

Tell swmbo what swmbo needs to know!! :wonder: so far my remap was an 'economical mobile tuning service' which cost £80 and the intake was £100 from birthday money.........haven't quite figured out the explanation for the down pipe yet although its getting delivered to a friends house :giggle: I'm such a bloody wimp.

By the way nice car on Piston heads, but it needs a colour coded grill

Sy?

the car n piston heads was a model that could be bought in australia iirc and they charged alot of money over the standard car. so what i meant was that an expensive way to get your vRS to 260Hp.when for less than £1500 you could easily have 260Hp.

thats what i do, although i got busted for the DP and WALK in germany. i had it all delivered to my work, but was away at the time, and didnt expect the missus to nip in to collect any post. that was an amusing phonecall :giggle:

I figured thats what you meant...... :S I got caught out big time when the springs arrived, got a text from swmbo saying "why are there a set of lowered springs sitting in the porch?" I confidently replied "they are for Jay (a mate from work)". 10 minutes later I received a picture message of the box, clearly visible was the label which said 'Skoda Octavia vRS -30mm Lowered Springs' .....................obviously not for the Fiesta ST my mate drives!!! :o Classic

Change it from 258bhp to 358bhp and they're on to a winner ;)
