Enabling Cruise Control on 2003 Octy tdi

Featured Replies

As above. I've had a request from a member to enable the above using VCDS. Anyone know how to? :giggle:

I take it you didn't look on the Ross-Tech site? emoticon-0114-dull.gif

Activating Cruise Control on a new ECU (DBW):Factory fresh ECU's often come with cruise control de-activated. If this is the case, there will not be a letter "G" in the Component field of VAG-COM when connected to the Engine.

[select]

[01 - Engine]

[Login - 11]

Enter 11463 to activate cruise control

[Do It!]

After doing this procedure, there should be a letter "G" in the Component field.

Indeed I did, but wasn't sure this was the right info, so thank you for clearing that up for me

ok, so followed the above and the "G" has appeared in the component field. Cruise control is still inactive.

getting no reply from controller 09 error message states "no response from controller"

Any thoughts as to why it still doesn't work?

TIA
