Palm GPS Navigation

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone else uses TomTom for Palm OS (not Pocket PC)?

I've just bought it along with a Palm Tungsten T3 (upgraded from a Palm Tungsten T as I've got loads of software and peripherals for the Palm platform).

I'm after the european maps, if anyone knows where to get them cheap?

I have the Iberia maps but they are for pocket pc - dunno if the format is the same?

I presume the program is different, but the maps - who knows?

does the palm version have sound?

The palm version has sound -I've been using it for some time. I've got the European maps (9, yes, 9CD's!), but they are licensed to your individual Palm. When you install, it gives you a serial number, then you have to go to the Tom Tom website, then register, and enter the number they give you.

Unless you can find a crack, I'm afraid you'll have to hand over some money -about
