I hate Car insurance

Featured Replies

Recently took out cover with elephant.co.uk, cheapest quote. Thing was I never mentioned my claim for legal cover from back in september with my previous insurance. Anyway thought it'll be best to mention it to them (as my proof of no-claims from Renault mentions it) Anyway it went up

You need to PM me some detail young master Jones ;)

we also ask if you've made any 'Glass' claims too, don't know if we charge more for you if you've claimed though.

Will do ;)

 I've never been asked.

I feel for ya, Jon. Never been in your situation yet - I've decided that when insurance is involved I either claim nothing, or a total loss. Makes a lot more sense. ;)

If I were in your boots, I'd be VERY tempted to tell elephant to go and pack their trunk and say goodbye to the circus... or your custom at least!

He lied when applying to Elephant. Is it any wonder they wanted more when they found out he had made a claim. Or am I reading his original post wrong?

I think it was little white lie - I wouldn't have thought claiming legal cover was a real "claim" in the proper sense of the word (i.e like my total write off)

You read it correct william. And Yes I lied. Thats not what i'm ****ed about. Just the fact that in general the victim always gets taken from behind which to me is not right.

P.S. Whats the point of protected no claims?

 I've never been asked.

I think this is a new thing, I was up in sales the other day (checking out the talent, wow there is some stunning ladies up there )
