I feel for ya, Jon. Never been in your situation yet - I've decided that when insurance is involved I either claim nothing, or a total loss. Makes a lot more sense.

If I were in your boots, I'd be VERY tempted to tell elephant to go and pack their trunk and say goodbye to the circus... or your custom at least!

I think it was little white lie - I wouldn't have thought claiming legal cover was a real "claim" in the proper sense of the word (i.e like my total write off)

You read it correct william. And Yes I lied. Thats not what i'm ****ed about. Just the fact that in general the victim always gets taken from behind which to me is not right.

P.S. Whats the point of protected no claims?
