Just had a look at the fault codings on Ross page...still confused.

Is this the passenger seat airbag or the passenger dash airbag??

a code 00588 is the drivers side, but again dosent mention if seat or wheel.

Im hoping that this is the usual knackered floor plug, would i be correct in assuming this?? Please help. :S

A friend of mine had this same code on his Audi Quattro. I cleared it and several weeks later it still hasn't returned. I'd try clearing it and see where you go from there.

It wont clear. It keeps hard latched.

Then it'll be a problem with the wiring or the passenger front airbag.

So is it the passenger dashboard airbag, or the seat side airbag?? :wonder:

I would say the dash airbag, it usually staes if it the side airbag. Take the glovebox out and have a look.
