Once you've got the old stereo out and the fascia surround off you can just pull the cubby hole out, it's clipped in at the back.

By the way if you're fitting a double DIN H/U you'll need to cut a bit of plastic out of the back which the old stereo and cubby hole clipped into.

To get the CD changer out of the boot:

1. Loosen the 4 torx head screws, 2 either end of the fabric cover plate. You'll need a torx key to get to the ones at the back as they're tight up against the wheel arch

2. Slide the cover plate off of the changer and changer bracket

3. Slide the changer off of the bracket and unplug the multiplug (there are 2 multiplugs behind the fabric boot lining, wrapped up in foam and cable ties. Disconnect the two plugs rather than trying to unplug the cable at the changer)

4. Pull the boot lining off the side of the boot to get to the two bolts holding the bracket to the bodywork, I think these are 10mm bolts

5. Undo bolts and remove bracket, replace fabric boot lining
