Wheel center caps - changing the emblem.

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have noticed a few people have the vRS center caps and from what I can gather it is just a sticker applied to the existing center cap. When I was washing my wheels the otherday I noticed that it is not completely flat. So how do you go about applying the badges? Is there a bit of modding todo?

If they are vinyl badges i think they are slightly dome/curved like the ones i bought off ebay. Mine are sticky back. Just peel and stick on to a flat surface

Hi all, they finally turned up....

I got them for £10 + £2 postage off eBay. They took an entire week to turn up, which I think took the ****. I used a flat headed screwdriver to lip off part of the old sticker then ripped it off with some pliers. I then stripped the caps clean and polised them with a bit of white spirit to clean the surface. I was a bit weary of the adhesive quality of the badges so I just applied a small amount of contact adhesive to the surface.

I have to say they look pretty smart in my opinion :)

Centre caps look a lot better than I expected. I soooo want some Octavia spiders for my Fabia.
