Well,finally sorted out the Yeti!

Wanted the 140 Elegance DSG/Manual (Still hadn't made up my mind) in black with front parking sensors, spare wheel, silver roof rails,Annapurna alloys.

Ended up with the demo from the dealer which was only registered on the 21st june.

That spec was:170 elegance,metallic silver,park assit,rough road,variable floor,silver roof rails,spare tyre kit,Annapurna alloys, flaps,bootliner,mats and the Panoramic Sunroof!.

Less for what the wanted the dsg ordered,so I couldn't really say no to it.

Picking up next Saturday.

Just need to sell the fabia 3 105 tdi now as there PX was poor.

You've ended up with a very good spec there! A sunroof too!!! emoticon-0137-clapping.gif Very lucky!

Wel done - nice spec. Hope you manage to sell the old car.

If it was registered on the 21st June I wouldn't mention on here who is the supplying dealer as SkodaUK do keep a check on here and we are supposed to as per out T&Cs keep demo cars for a min of 3 months.

I'm an ex demo owner, I'm very pleased to say. :D I have had my SM 8 months. My waiting time was 3 days.....Best thing I did B)

Nice Spec. You will just love the 170.

+1 The supplying dealer (no longer in business) for my Roomster Scout ex-demo "got around" this with a loan car agreement :|

Well, I have had the Yeti for a fortnight and it’s great.

It was the demo/stock car from the dealer very nicely specced (which is why we went for it rather than waiting for the colour we wanted)

It’s a 170 elegance in silver with Park Assist, Rough Road, Sunroof, Variable floor, Annapurna Alloys, Silver Rails.

It’s not quite as quick as I perhaps thought having said that I’ve just come from a Golf R32 so probably asking too much there! But its good averaging 45 mpg on a new engine compared to 25 on the R32, and it’s only going to get better!

The Park assist takes a bit of getting used to, the spinning wheel still freaks me out a bit it takes a bit of practice to make it the sensors “see†the space correctly. You have to make sure the car in front is parked well as the PA follows it, i.e.: if the car in fronts on the kerb so will you be!

I ordered the spare wheel for the Yeti thinking you would get the wheel but you actually get the spare and the carpet and all the compartments and tool kit, so it’s a choice between variable or spare wheel floor.

Is there any way to stop the sunroof blind closing automatically? Can it be done via Vag Com?

Anyway, thanks for reading and here are a few pics.

oh crap, if you think the 170 is slow coming from a R32....... how do you think im going to feel going from a infiniti m35 with the 350z engine to the 1.2tsi!!!!!!!!

I test drove it and to be honest i found the little 1.2 had a quicker more manic take off to about 50kph!.

Another missed post, great spec you managed to bag there. Not seen posts from aerofurb for some time but he mentioned about the sunblind closing at odd times. Don't think he got to the bottom of it last I knew.

Regards,

TP

I find it a right PITA every time you go and sit in the the blind is closed, wonder if there is a way of stopping that from happening with VCDS?.

One thing I do find amusing is the "dance" the lights do on start up!

I thinks its down ,to the sides, across and level.lol

Cheers for the comments
