I will be ordering a Blaupunkt Dab 54 radio for my Fabia vrs in January and think the combined antenna is the right road to take, can anyone tell me how easy or hard the job is to do any step by step guide would be appriciated .

I'm going to also be getting that Head unit but i'm gonna get my local dealer to fit it

I have the comined aerial on my octy, its a piece of cake to fit. Halfords wont do the aerial, just the HU.

To fit it, you need to get above the roof lining by removing various bits of trim then undo the connector at the aerial end, remove securing bolt whilst a friend holds on from the outside. Fit new antenna. Run the new cable down the drivers side above headlining (remove grab handles first) and down the A pillar. Install the diplexor somewhere and attach cables to hu. You will need to connect the blue antenna amp cable to the diplexor. Took me about an hour for the octy.
