Octavia Dec 2005 2.0 tdi L & K

Hi

I've been having a real problem with the A/C system on my Octavia Dec 2005 2.0 tdi L & K Hatchback. Suffice to say it's been gassed three times and had two switches fitted; all without fixing the problem.

My Skoda main dealers assure me that it needs a new A/C compressor/pump to sort it all out but at a little over £1,000 supplied and fitted it's too much money.

I am pretty sure I can get either a reclaimed or a Patent after market, part as a satisfactory replacement and I have a local mechanic who will fit it for me but I am reluctant to order anything unless I can be sure I'm ordering the correct bit.

Can anybody help me track down the relevant part number?
