Fabia VRS 2005. ASZ engine.

Just had an MOT failure with ' Rear Offside Coil Spring Incomplete'.

Simply the end tip of coil spring broken off/ missing.

Contacting Skoda for a replacement and giving registration and chassis number, was asked what round colour dabs of paint was on the coil spring and sequence.

There being 3 types of spring available needed to know colour sequence.??

Having climbing under car, mine is 2 white 1 blue 1 orange.

I however purchased a spring from a motor factor shop about a £1.00 cheaper (as shop was nearer to me) without this colour code info ??

Keeping both motor factor shop parts ref and colour coded info ref on file, for the future.

Didn't make a note of make of coil spring and garage disposed of box, attached Motor Factor shop receipt.

what make have you purchased? as KYB dont list anything for the vrs currently, KILEN only list 1 set for the vrs - frnt = 23115 rear = 63123
