Hi,

I've noticed over the last week that when my engine fan is cutting in it is a bit noisy and doesn't seem to be totally balanced, so I had a quick look today and noticed that only the larger of the 2 fans is cutting in and the noise/vibration is occuring when it is running flat out.

Should both fans cut in or is the smaller one only in place in case the larger one fails?

I should mention that there is not a temperature problem with the engine.

Probably air con, it will use both fans if needed.......... been bloody hot dont forget.
