How to reset the service light in VAG

We were trying to reset the service indicator light in my skoda fabia 2000 last night and discovered how to make adjust the setting.

I thought I would post it here so that folks can do this themselves with VAG because it did not work with the shortcut from the main screen.

Go to instruments 17.

Adaption 10

The channel you want is 12 and you set the value to 365.

That should reset the indicator for a year.
