My vRS and a good detail

Featured Replies

Don't normally show off the car or post that many pictures, ok when i'm showing something to help people out i do. Anyway, i had the car detailed by Mat, who i think is a member on here last week before GTi International and thought i would share his work and it's also a good read etc.. Any comments welcome, even if they are to say the car looks naff

Thats Mats car, did it for a laugh to go to gti inters. I have no tax disc holder, so it's on a little clip. not had a problem with it so far, but do need to swap it over at some point.

Yeah agree witht he wheels, some people love them, some hate them. I'm spraying my standard ones black so i can change the look of the car when i wish.

As said above, the plastics on the car for some reson have never been lacqured (sp?), think this was down to the bady shop been lazy. But the spoiler and rear bumper haven't been resprayed so came from Skoda like that. :S

My red VRS is the same in regards to the spoiler and rear bumper, noticed when polishing they leave a red haze on the pads wheras all other panels and front bumper are fine? strange

It does seem to be a skoda thing then, apparently they are bulit and sent to the Skoda UK garage where they will them be completly assembled, i.e. alloys put on, bumpers put on and anything such as leather seats put in. not sure if this is true but the bumpers could be done at the garage and not in the build process. :S

Looks awesome!!!

I'm thinking for a full outside detail about £250-300 depending upon the condition of the paintwork and what needs to be done etc. This was done at mates rates as i know Mat, if you was thinking about it give him a call. Aspire to detail is the company B)

I also need to get up some pics of under the bonnet, twhich i detailed before gti inters. in my opinion it looks awesome
