Just an observation:

I was surprised that the boot cover was sucked up and flapped all over the place when doing 70mph on the motorway with all the windows open.

Scared the cr@p out of me and could have damaged delicate items in the boot.

close the windows and put the air con on you will get more MPG then

With all windows open there is a massive air flow mate.

I work in a metal box with no windows all day, so I like to drive home with the car windows all open and aircon off if it's a nice weather, Bolero blasting away.

As for mpg, it's a vRS and I like to see how low a figure I can get on the maxi-dot. Not managed single figures....yet
