Hi Everyone

Bought myself an Octavia VRS and its the best decision ive ever made. However after a few electrical problems(Radio and front speakers not working) i found out its an ex police car!!! :'(

I rang skoda to see how much it will cost and they said its £62 for the first hour just to find out whats wrong

Don't be sad about it being an ex police car, I once had an ex-police ovlov and it was superb, they really keep on top of their cars.

Re: the speakers etc, so long as you go to a VAT registered garage and they use the correct parts you're warranty is unaffected. That said I wouldn't have thought this is a case of warranty work, why not just find a good auto electrician and take it there?
