Obviously the 2.0tdi is as used in many other vw products and is the newer unit... i was wondering about the 1.9 105ps version...

is this essentialy a tweeked pd100 or detuned 110/115/130?

what would its tuning potential be?

just curious as my sister has just got a pd100 passat and wondered what spec difference was between engines?

Just Though I'd reply, this post looked a little rejected . The Displacent of the 1.9 100hp and 1.9 105hp is the same, which straight away indicated it's the same unit. The 105hp is torqier too, I just think it's got an ECU That gives it that little extra poke for the Octy2.
