R32 Brakes vs 17" Alloys

Featured Replies

As most of you know i had an R32 Brake kit fitted recently which also incorporated me using 10mm spacers to guarantee fitment.

Well today out of curiosity i decided to try and fit them without the spacers.

The answer is……… Yeeeeeehahhhhhhh they will fit under 17" Zenith Alloys (7.0J ET54 x 17") WITHOUT spacers.

Now this is using OEM Disks aswell. On looking at the disc the hub is a bit wider than the standard ones hence this is probably why it fits. There is about 3mm of clearance. If you use other discs i cant comment.

I just went and took them out for a spin and all is perfect.

So if you have been holding off buying them then fear not. Using OEM DIscs, Calipers & Pads they will fit under 17" alloys

I'm really pleased for you Carl, :giggle: now, about them 10mm spacers????

You can try if you wish. Just need to clean them up as they have Silver Hammerite on from when i painted the Hubs

3mm is cutting it fine, though I have run less clearance on my 16" winter wheels. Bremsport work on a minimum of 5mm
