Hi all,

I own a 2003 Skoda Superb TDI 130 Comfort. I've had it from new and think it's a great car. I want to carry on with it and do some of my own maintenance. At the moment I'm concidering changing the timing/cam belt.

I've read on the forums it's not too difficult if you have the correct locking tools. I'm using a Haynes Passat manual and there are some slight differences in the bobywork so some of it may be done by the seat of the pants. but I've also read somewhere that you don't need to remove the bumper on a Superb unlike the Passat.

I have some other minor issues that I may need some help on like I cant decide wether a slight wining/rumbling noise from the front offside is the inner CV joint (outer has been replaced) or if it's a worn wheel bearing (it increases slightly in a slight turn)

Anyway it's great to be on the forum and hopefully I can keep my Superb going a lot longer,

Tugman
