Felicia 1.9 Diesel wil not start

Featured Replies

Got a felicia 1.9 Pickup that wont start

Diesel pump not pumping fuel, have changed with known good one. STill the same problem.

COuld it be knacked DECU as loads of water ingress.

CAn I override the Diesel Pump so that the fuel solenoids are activated, the heater plugs are getting power and she turns over fine.

first off.. unless the pump is matched to the immob then it wont go.

if you are handy you can remove the fuel stop solanoid and replace with a std lucas one and attach a switched live to it. it is hidden behind a security sheild tho to stop this being easy..

other thing is maybe the immob chip has fallen out of the key ?

There is no centre piece to key fob, and the centre ring around the ignition was hanging down. so sounds like previous owner might have had a problem before i got it.

Is it relatively easy to replace the fuel stop solenoid with standard lucas one?

Thanks for your fast response

I managed to make a hole where stop solenoid is, and patched a wire to activate the existing solenoid, but there is still no fuel coming to the injectors.

Do I have to replace the existing solenoid with a new std one?
