Well my mum visited from Africa and the place we met was Barcelona - as she was singing in a choir there. Of course she knows about the Yeti having been ordered but I so wanted to show her one. But there was none on the streets of Barcelona to be found. Then one night the choir coach took us to a small village on the outskirts of Barcelona for a performance and guess next to what the coach parked?! A Skoda dealer that was open at 20:21 (taken from the photo's time stamp)!!! The salesman was in the door and we just ran past straight to the Yeti ignoring all the other cars - and the salesman. I showed mum inside and out, took a picture of her and the car and had to ran to find the rest of the choir. The salesman just laughed.

After this we saw one more Yeti in this exact colour in the window of another dealer and two more in this colour on the street. And later a black one and a white one. So all in all I saw as many Yetis in BCN as I have ever seen on the road in the UK! Was a good trip beast hunting!

Alas I'm a child in a man's body circa 1972. Hehehe

Yeti hunting proves to be a great sport, and involves a Mother in my case too.

It was her suggestion that I should look at a Yeti after this last winter, and at 88 I was flabbergasted that she should even know such a car existed! I hadn't!

So - when I visited her up in Kinross, south of Perth we thought we'd go for a run to see if we could find one for her to cast her peepers over, in the flesh. We hunted Fife, we hunted Perth, and only when we hit a wee wee town called Woodside, or Burrelton near Coupar Angus did we see one in a dealer! "Och, whit a lump o' a car!" she pronounced - yet loved it when I turned up a while later in my own!

Yeti hunting? A sport worth pursuing, especially with auld wimmin!! Though, 900000000000 as Ager~B has it, your Mum certainly aint in that category!
