I am on my sixth skoda,why oh why do the skoda badges tarnish and loose there shine so quickly.

I had mine replaced under warranty. It seems it's laminated plastic and water gets inside and causes tarnishing.

perfect excuse to get some customer ones made up

The badges on my old 8 year old fabia were fine and i hope my new one does the same.

You can use the engine cover ones that are exactly the same colour, just flatter, need a bit of a modification and tape to fit!

I used black ones for front and back:
