wheel offset - NOW ONTO VOTES

Featured Replies

Rite-oh guys

Im thinking ................. :peek:

ive got 8x20s et 35

if i get sum 8x19s et50  then some rather handy 20mm fk pcd adaptors/spacers :sweat:

would then i be right thinking that would give say 8x19s et 30 :S

which in turn would sit ...... for say 5mm further arch wise than the 8x20 et 35 rims? :nerd:

with a 215/35/19 tad stretched :smirk:

would it work  with so so chance of a lil sneak of the rim out the arch but the tyre pulled back in

that sounds about right mate yea. Would need to watch though, an inch smaller but that wee bit of width could be the difference between hitting the arch and not.

yeah thats what i was thinking? :dull: which is why i wondered if i went for the 215 35 19 it may pull in that bit? emoticon-0106-crying.gif

tyre measurments im abit less up on? is it rite that the 215 tyre would be 10mm narrower than the 225? if both would be based on a 8j rim?

You need to pick a wheel width 1st and then go from there.

Yes 215 will be 10mm narrower than 225 and then profile comes into it.

That site may help out a little.

I don't like the stretched look but if you go for a 8.5J you may need a slight stretch due to the width, but you will also need the correct offset.

jay you'd love it :p its BBS CH or CH/Blacks

8x19s with 215/35/19 falken fk452s, as ive always been told falken and pirellis tend to be the narrow end of their size :smirk:

they list 5x112 pcd et50 8x19s

the fk adaptors bolt to the hub then the wheels bolt to them , so say spot on and no long bolts :smirk:

Well ive ran a 205 on an 8.5J wheel before, and it was pretty stretched, not crazy though. A nice stretch, and did look stretched, so a 215 might be quite good for arch clearance without being to stretched.

Id go for silver, thes ones on it look smart in silver! Think the silver ch's would look good mate.
