Jason.

My late 2005 registered Elegance 2.5 has a full size alloy spare.

I think when they facelifted the car in 2006 the alloy was swapped for the 16" steel wheel, I have a pdf of the 2006 brochure and it states a steel is provided as the spare

My Nov 2005 Elegance 2.5 came with a stupid space saver steel wheel. I bought a new tyre and alloy for the spare.

You normally get a steel that had a tyre on it to maintain the overall rolling diameter, i.e 235/45/17 can also have the same overall rolling as say a 205/55/16, hth.

Thats right - it was a 16" steel wheel but my alloys were 17" hence the new wheel PLUS tyre.

My 2005 MY Elegance was an ex-Skoda car and came with a few options - glass roof, different wheels, pimp tints, full leather and sat nav before they were standard, but still has a 16" steel spare - though I've since got hold of a matching 5th alloy.

If you want to get a matching alloy, then I'd be quick - SUK are discontinuing everything and there won't be many left soon, even at a scrappy.

cheers
