My first 1000 KM on SM

Featured Replies

Just one week and the first 1000 Km are gone!

My SM was delivered last friday and I had all this week to do a full test drive.

I drove, more or less, on all kind of streets and not.. (yesterday I did a light off road going to meet a friend of mine which has a "chalet" in a wood at about 2000 m on the sea level on the Alps close to France/Italy boundary and where there isn't a paved road but just a sand and stone path for about 5 km).

At the present time, I can say that the Yeti choice was the best I could have done.

Is a very nice car full of comfortable options and every day is a surprise.

I had the first "trouble" after just 3 days: the water container of windscreen washer had a dipping hole because of a crack on the electric pump...

I left the SM to the dealer mech service in the morning and in the afternoon the car was ok.

About MPG: my SM is at about 13 Km/l in urban cycle (with a lot of trafficlights and busy streets) and at about 12 Km/l on highway with legal cruise speed (with A/C on).

Without A/C seems a little better (+1 Km/l in every cycle).

More comments will come in the next weeks...

Sorry!! :'(

Well, Spanish and Italian languages are fairly close, but they do spell and pronounce the same basic words differently.

Ta' mate! might have worked too :dull:
