Octavia VRS Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

I have an Octavia MK2 VRS which was an ex unmarked police car. Everything is great apart from the bluetooth system not working. However i dont know if its my iphone or the bluetooth in the car thats not working. Any ideas please? :'(

Has it got the factory fit bluetooth fitted? I assume it is a DSG fitted car as these are the only ones with bluetooth fitted from the factory. Manual cars can not have bluetooth specified as an option. The stereo will still have a 'Phone' button on it even without bluetooth being installed.

Has the iPhone ever worked with it? If no, then you probably have the GSM III module. It uses the rSAP protocol with the iPhone doesn't support.

I'd be surprised if you've got the bluetooth system in the car. What makes you think it's installed?
