Engine Cover Vibes

Featured Replies

Well my dads car was getting vibes from the engine bay. Thought I'd take a look for him. I found the engine cover was on tightly but if I put my finger on the skoda badge the vibration would stop.

So off came the badge by prying with a flat blade screw driver on the right hand side (I had already loosened it by this photo).

I put some foam pads underneath

Then puished it back on in place - a tight fit now. Low and behold no more noise at certain revs. Checked my Superb out and it had the same problem only not as noticable. Thought some of you may apprecaite this tip.
