I haven't had a good look at an iPad but does it have the standard Apple dock connector?

If it does has anybody tried connecting one to an MDI cable? I know that an iPad won't fit in a glove box but I'm just curious as to whether it will feed sound through to the cars speakers. If it does with a longer than standard MDI cable it might make a nice in car video player.

Yes it does have the standard connector thats a good idea for in car video. Only thing would be mounting somewhere whilst you watched it.
