I'm after a labour cost for replacing the rear beam bushes on a Mk1 Octavia vRS.

You fitted my G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch kit earlier in the year, and that's been spot on, so I'm coming back for more!

I'll probably supply Leon Curpa R beam bushes or standard beam bushes, which will both need pressing in.

So if you could give me an estimated job time and cost, that would be great.

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately we don't get involved with fitting replacement standard rear axle bushes. It's just too much of a pain of a job to do and can take infinitely longer than fitting the much better Powerflex or Superpro rear axle bushes.

If you would like the Powerflex bushes fitted, we do a fixed price service of £225 + VAT (£264.38 all in)

If you prefer the Superpro bushes, these are a little bit more at a fixed price of £250 + VAT (£293.75 all in)
