Electric Wing Mirrors

Recommended Posts

Holding the lock button will also close any windows that are open, as well as fold the mirrors. If you do the same when unlocking the car (press and hold the open button), all the windows open - handy if we ever manage to get some hot weather!

It works on the sunroof too - windows, roof, mirrors is the sequence. However, to answer the original question, no, you can't set your electric folding mirrors to automatically fold when you lock the car.

But if you have alarm installed wait before holding the lock button for 2 secs or otherwise you will disable the internal movement sensors and towing sensor.

A very useful piece of information, especially when travelling on a car ferry. They pack you in so tight and it scares the **** out of me watching passengers squeezing past the cars with overnight bags, duty free etc bashing into mirrors which in turn makes their cases swing into the poor cars. Great tip.

Even if you dont have those, if you press the second time on the lock button you would enable unlocking from the inside (afaik from the manual).
