A small problem with my 52 plate superb 1.9 tdi pd 130 if anyone can help please........

Had a sudden loss of engine power when changing from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th,dont need to be driving hard just general acceleration usually up hill.

dont get any lights come on and if i switch off and restart alls well again maybe for a week or so.

Car has now done 104k

had new turbo fitted at 65k at dealer under warranty just after i bought it.

has been fully serviced regularly with correct correct oil etc.

never done it when wife drives car only me...... :S

read someware that it could be EGR valve is this correct and if so can it be cleaned to fix the problem...????

Check the hose that goes to the EGR, this one gets rubbed away under the engine cover, and check all the braided ones that run from the bulkhead to the air filter box.
