Hi,

I have an 06 Octavia vRS. I need to run some wires from the engine bay into the cabin off the car.

They are thin wires to run from a switch in the car to strobes mounted on the body behind the grill. I would prefer not have to remove the dash and don't mind where in the cabin they come out. What is my best route ?

Strobes?!?!?!?!?

Dont think you'l need to remove the dash mate. Go inside the car and look for any rubber grommets or blanking plugs that lead into the engine bay. There should be a few or wiring you could "piggy back" through with

I gave up, but apparently the grommet is behind the glovebox!

Emergency services lights I should say

Excuse my noseyness but why are you fitting emergency services lights? Whilst I love the idea of flicking on the blues to clear the M1 on a busy Friday afternoon, I reckon plod may not see the funny side!!

"Blue light not on an emergency vehicle. £2k fine. Destruction of vehicle. 2nd Offence 5k fine. Destruction of vehicle."

No idea how true this is - but this article was found after a quick search on Google..
