I've ordered a new Octavia 1.9TDI Elegance. As it's a company car, I had to go through a contract hire company who are yet to get back to me with a delivery date.

Anyone know what the delivery times are (roughly) are on these? I haven't ordered any options with it, I don't know if that will make any difference.

Hi - just ordered 2.0 TDI Elegance last week and told by lease company that its in stock so should be pretty quick. Just a case of PDI and 'prepping' it.

Ordered my 2.0 TDI Elegance DSG on Saturday - was told it would be February. Got a few options though - if I'd wanted a totally standard car they could have fulfilled from stock according to the dealer.

I was told about 3 weeks ago that if I ordered a 1.9Tdi Classic or Ambiente, I could have it by Christmas as long as I wanted only standard equipment.

Cheers guys, I don't know if it's our HR department or the lease company who are dragging their feet with the delivery date. I'm hoping it's in stock as my current car is looking a bit tired.

Just as I sent my last post, HR got back to me with a (kind of) delivery date: Mid to Late January. Chuffed about that.

I ordered an Octy 2 1.9Tdi Ambiente in October and the leasing company (HSBC) have advised delivery in Mid to end Jan 2005. I've ordered some extras so it'll be a factory order.

ditto with me.... ordered 7th October, delivery expected end of Jan.... Anyone would think it's a Morgan!
