Hi all, looking at buying a 2001 Octavia 1.9 TDI (110BHP) Elegance estate for towing our caravan, had a look around but can't find anywhere what the most I could tow.

Dunno how accurate it'd be,..... But the tech spec blurb on the autotrader website for one of these say 500kg unbraked and 1300kg braked,...

Unfortunate that - the Octi estates aren't overly heavy, mine is a 90% match with my Bailey Ranger but it tows like a dream

They look a good size for towing, looks like another 4x4 good link that, mind if I show it on a 4x4 site I use?
