replacing my droplinks

Featured Replies

decided to replace my front droplinks before my MOT, when i rang GSF there were two types unbranded ones and branded ones the branded ones were 30 quid..ish and the unbranded ones were about 23 quid...ish.

so my question is there anypoint getting the branded ones for the sake of 7/10 quid

cheers lee

The Branded ones will be the OE ones and are guaranteed to fit correctly and last a decent time. The Unbranded as with most things in life are copies and may or may not fit perfectly nor last long. It's your choice but if it was me I would stick withe OE parts.

I've just ordered a pair from Express Car Parts @ £11-odd + vat each

1160600000/HD: Meyle Stabiliser Link - Skoda FABIA (6Y2) 1.9 SDI (FR/MYX)

They are from the Meyle HD range and looking at the blurb on the Meyle website:

http://www.meyle.com/EN/Spare-parts/MEYLE-HD.html

they should be a good replacement for OE links as larger joint and thicker rod (and 4 year warranty)?
