Central Locking problem

The remote fob on my car no longer unlocks all the doors on pressing a second time. I can hear a faint click at the drivers door lock so am assuming the fault is with it.

I took off the door card intending to remove the door lock but cannot see how to disconnect the window from the mechanism. I checked old forums, the later car seems different to those described.

Any advice very welcome (2008 Octavia 1.9pd, out of warranty because of miles)
