have i grinding noise comeing from the engine bay witch starts off queit when the engine is cold but after a 5mile trip + gets louder.

been to deeler whoom at first told me he couldent hear anything then he got a technichen from the work shop who could hear it but dosent no what it could . he said we will just have to wait until it gets wrose,

now i have until the 8th next month to regect this car but they will only exchange like for like. or do i keep it and let the probblem get wrose not knowing if it si coverd under the warrenty

its a 58 plate 1.9 tdi / dsg

If you suspect its anything to do with the box, I think you would be better off rejecting the car. Do you think it might be something straight forward like a wheel bearing ??

: I THINK its eather a dry bearing or a pump the noise gets louder the longer the car is run

BEEN to dealer today they are now going to have it in on monday to seee if they can find the fault
