hello my friends

my car is an octy 2009 , i have noticed lately that after making a long trip i am getting a very strange and annoying noise inside the car , i checked the engine compartment nothing there , if i turn off the engine no sound even if the key is on

if i leave the car for an hour and turn it on again no sound then after a while i get the sound back

very bad noise for a new car only about 16000 km

a friend of mine told me that it may be from the fuel filter as i should have changed it at 10000 as i am in EGYPT and the octane 92 is not so good

i dont know what to do

Can you describe athe noise a little more and where it is coming from (or you think it is coming from)?

My 2010 Octy makes a noise after I've had the Bolero playing (which is every trip) - I believe it's the Bolero Head Unit remaining powered for a short time after removing the key, so if you press the power button it will come on instantly.

It is annoying and only just audiable - Could this be it?

It's not the climate control switching off is it? It seems to close flaps or something when you switch the car off...

What abut a faulty fuel pump? Doesn't it sit somewhere in the right rear area?

it wasn't the fuel pump, i checked several time with the VCDS , but thanks god it was the fuel filter, i changed it yesterday and everything is fine now , the technician who changed it told me it was almost blocked !!!!!!!!!!, i wonder what type could make it like that

anyway thanks god it was a fuel filter not something bigger
