If you don't get anywhere on the dye front, hire a rug doctor from B&Q or Homebase. Done my seats & carpets with one & it brings them up great.

just did this today and got to say a first class guide. Took me about an hour to do and can really tell the difference.

worth doing this yourself as the part was going to be £85 supplied by skoda and £157 fitted, in the end went to TPS and got it for about £76.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but the foam base is now £80 + VAT and it is currently on back order at Skoda so was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of anywhere that may have one in stock OR if you have a base but sold the car, changed the seats etc prior to fitting.

I realise that I am somewhere between Bob and No hope but thought it worth a try.

Also if anyone has Ekta (I think that's what it's called) does any other VAG group car share the foam because that may be an easier way of obtaining the base. Buy a passenger seat for the alternative off of the bay or similar, based on the thought that passenger side gets used a lot less, and strip it for the foam.

I can feel the metal frame on my seat

I spoke to TPS and they said that the foam base would be in, in about one weeks time.

I ordered one and await their call.

I don't suppose they said how many they were getting in did they?

Also I have seen TPS all over the site, is there a link to take me to the right place please.
