Front Bush Replacement - Options?

Featured Replies

Dear fellow Briskodans

I had my car MOT'd a couple of weeks ago (day before driving holiday - talk about cutting it fine!!!) and it passed. Phew!

I had an advisory that the front suspension bushes were begining to perish - nothing drastic but the garage said they were obliged to tell me, even though they would last at least another 12 months if not more.

Now, what options are there for replacements? OEM? Powerflex? Uprated OEM (from another model)? Other marque i.e. SEAT ones as for the Fabia?

The car is a 2.0 TDi. All standard. I have had Powerflex in the past for my Golfs and was fairly happy with them (I was also younger then too). Many report the drive being harsh/noisier with them fitted. What do others think/do?

TIA

Nick

Any progress? What have you found so far?

Watching this thread closely, as my rear ones had an advisory last year! Prices included with the options would be great! Thanks :)

Nothing yet, short of entire audi wishbones.

Must be something out there.

Awesome Bushes

TPS drew a blank on the voidless ones as per my other post. What are the options. Will need to get this sorted next week pre MOT time. What are the OE ones like, new and how much from a good source? Also any other ideas about the likes of the ones from VWSPARES.COM ?

Any ideas most welcome

Nick
