i have had a new turbo and 'dance' stereo fitted today, all covered by warranty. {about £1700 of repairs}

only had the car 8 weeks, i did'nt buy the car from a skoda dealer and it had done just over 60k and they did the warranty work, no questions,no quibbles, no hassle, now thats what i call service.

what do they say about skoda drivers ?..............happy drivers !!!

The Octy VRS has te Stream eadunit as standard, I thought the Dance was a step down from the stream.

steam headunit now ceased, dance replaces it, the only thing differant about it, is there is no time or temp displayed on the screen, all other functions remain the same.

it's coming out next week, having a pioneer fh-bt80 double din put in, so if anybody is interested in a brand new dance headunit, please let me know.

If you go into the setup menu you can activate these items yourself.

ive been through all the menu's and i can't find the setup menu.....

Personally I'd have been happier if the stereo and and turbo outlasted the warranty period.

yeah i know what you saying, i was more happy with the service i got from skoda, than actually having a new turbo and stereo !there are some things you just cant control, hope this turbo lasts a lot lot longer........

yeah it does, i hope my new pioneer works with the cd changer
