Perhaps these need replacing :-O

Featured Replies

Just had a look at my front tyres, and I reckon one of them needs replacing.

When I got the car, the tyre was OK, but was old (manufactured in 2005). Now though, there are massive cracks appearing all over it :o

Here's what they're like. Should I replace these? I think so!

I've already got some kumho 31's to go on there. Bought them for my last car then it got wrote off before I had chance to fit them.

Can't see in the photo, but there's also cracks around the lettering on the tyres, and the sidewall has lost the smooth finish it had before, so not good really!

Gonna get the local tyre place to fit em for me.

deffo change them

Tell you what m8 i'll save you the disposal fee for one of the tyres and take it off your hands for nowt

Urgh Pirelli P6000 yuck, Good choice on the Kumho KU31's tho

Gonna give the Falken FK452's a try when i next change my tyres, i would go for Toyo T1R's but way too soft lol only lasted 5k miles on my old T5 :0)

EDIT: actually, thinking about it, the T5 used to kill front tyres, but the 4x4 should be easier going on front tyres, hmmm

Yeah, I have ku31's on the back and they're sticky as anything.

The p6000's are truly awful! They squeal on roundabouts, slide in the wet, god knows why pirelli are still making them!!

Hopefully gonna get them changed on tuesday morning.

Oh, and Raf_75, I have pm'd you about the tyres.

It's front wheel drive until such times as it's needed though isn't it ??

I wouldn't have thought there would be that much difference.

Maybe .....lol

As far as i am aware Pirelli have discontinued them, only ones you should see are what is left over, they now make the P6 and P7

Sure is, but the T5 used to wheelspin all the time, about 310 n/m torque after the map :0) my KU31's only lasted about 7k hehe was a nightmare trying to keep the fronts under control :giggle:
