autoglym high definition wax

Featured Replies

was bored today so had a trundle down to halfords and got some clay, some AG Super Resin Polish and some AG high definition wax

Figured the wax must be good for £40 and it is- like a more concentrated version of Collonite 476, with applicater sponges and a microfibre

Very pleased with results on a 3 year old 40,000 mile car

Took the best of 3 hours without a break to wash, clay, wash again, rinse, SRP and then wax the car though.....

Very nice

It was nice to use, but i didnt think HD was anything out of the ordinary. Certainly didnt justify its cost to me.

Nice job

I think you did well to do all that in 3 hours, normally takes me alll day :giggle:

I used some of this for the first time yesterday and have to say I was delighted with it, easy to apply (used very little)did the whole car and when I'd finished applying it started wiping it off, came of REALLY easily left no residue and a stunning glazed look to the paintwork, I'm really impressed with it and on the Halfords BOGOF deal a great money saver.

Yes had arms like Popeye when I'd finished- HD doesnt wipe off as easily as Meguiars wax, probly as it's a higher concentration of Carnauba wax, but the shine is better than Megs.

Probably because it's a higher concentration of carnauba wax!!
