Just a quick 'Hi' from the flatlands of Eastern Angular

Just purchased an 08 Octavia VRS Estate to replace my beloved Mk IV PD150 Golf due to having twins on the way!

First impressions

Pluses:

Great car for the cash

Plenty of VAG diesel poke

Handles a lot better than I thought it would

Plenty of similarities (obviously) to the Golf

Minuses:

Paintwork seems to not be as Plush

Road noise seems to be to be quite intrusive

Speakers seem to lack mids

Look forward to swapping advice and ideas
