Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Well, nearly covered 1000 miles in just over a month in my vRS, including a big 420 mile round trip up to harrogate and back this weekend! Got it with standard vRS wheels in antracite. Pics all below. On coilovers. Then picked up a set of rs4 replica alloys, which, i love now. I wasnt sure i was going to change them but i think there amazing! I love this car, absoluIttly brilliant, i cant fault it really, its a great car for the money. Excellent on fuel, comfortable, just wish it had xenon headlights!haha. But yea i would recommend getting one to anyone who has doubts, much more refined than my zetec-s and mg zr and the power in comparison is amazing. It might not be a "quick" car in some peoples opinion, in mine it is! but it sure is nippy and overtakes on the motorway so effortlessly Enjoy the pics :) Planning to repaint the grill mesh black at some point very soon. Also some pics with a mates zr turbo :)

hey tas! yea mate bought them last week. they suit it really well i think and i dont think there has been many red ones with them!

respray the rs4's anthracite ;)

Agreed ! It'll look spot on !

just out of interest, how much would you sell the originals for if you were to do so?

looks good by the way..!

Looking good fella like it alot. mine came with RS4 18's and it sat to high for me as i ran standard suspension at this point so i sold them and they paid for my current P Zero's on the standard rims. Yours looks great on them seen as its lower, i just couldnt live with mine, and the tyres were poo as well lol :)

haha yea without it being lower i dont think it would look as good at all! cheers for the comments!

Looks really good, paint the door handles though, they look odd in black plastic.

Another vote for grey RS4's here :D

Think it would look mint with the rs4's done anthracite

was thinking that, how do you do it though, hard job?

Pay someone £30 a corner....... :giggle:

Looking into getting the handles colour coded...hehe. Would a pd160 pipe be worth while considering ive done no other engine mods?

cheers

Still havent found any good places to paint the handles, they all seem expensive but i cant justify the money at the moment!

Golden rule of modern engine tuning...

Hardware then software.

I presume you'll have it mapped eventually.

If so a pd160 wouldnt hurt. I'd take my time and search out a cheap one

rather than pay full whack for a new one. Also if you are planning to change the exhaust

I'd do that before the map too. Also it may be an idea to go with the bigger brakes

before a remap. The standard brakes struggle to contain the car after mapping (believe me... :D )

It's crazy to think that a stupid plastic pipe is a third of the cost of the actual remap...

but that's Seats chiselling parts division for you :dull:
