Anyone hear anything about the new RS. Have seen a few articles most seem to say the golf GTi engine, although a Bi turbo diesel is being touted too

Have been advised by Local Skoda dealership new Octy Vrs, Will be 4 wheel drive, when it is launched !!!! {Cannot confirm though}If true AWSOME :thumbup:

It will be the 2.0 FSi turbo, and out december 2005, thats as far as the offical word to delaers has gone.

so a 4wd gti, sounds good, but fuel economy ll down to 25mpg, not so good! Thats the beauty of the current model, 35mpg(ish) n you can still smoke 3.0s which are gettin mid teens! :thumbup:

A point is the price.

You need much more money for the new VRS.

33k euros... so it's cheaper than the old model. Here in Finland that is. ;)

The new Golf V GTI is about 39500eur with DSG, Subaru Impreza WRX 42000eur, WRX STI 52000eur... cars are so damn expensive here. :mad:
