almost as often as the next great HTC/Android handset, the one that will be the iPhone killer, gets announced/released :p

Quite a lot of users reporting problems with the Galaxy S mainly severe "lag" while using it.

Also Samsungs support in terms of updates etc is certainly not as got as the like of HTC (which isn't great either).

If you want it soon then I would recommend the HTC Desire. If not then wait for the Desire HD.

Phil

The desire hd isn't its actual name. Unclear if its the ace, or aces the codename like bravo was for the desire.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what HTC settle on for it!

Looks pretty nice anyway. Little big for me though. 3.7" is more than enough!

Now THERE is a quote :D

I am also looking into phones but no response from Orange yet over possibly upgrades for me.

ive got the iphone m8 (not the 4 but the 3gs) and must admit .. i love it ... but word of warning !!!!!!

it does become addictive buying apps for it :giggle:

I tried a Galaxy S and like has been reported, was unresponsive, slow, and plasticky.

I wanted something with rSAP Bluetooth, to pair to my Superb; eventually, ended up with a HTC HD Mini. Not great, but Ok all round, is stable, quick ish and small enough to fit in the pocket. I look forward to the next Windows 7 phone, coming later this year.

I was an iPhone fan (had a 3gs; actually, still do in the car connected to my MDI!) and still would be if it would only work with my Car.... :(

Al.
